December Fun

Go Upward!

It may be too early to tell but I think Rylie has found her "thing". She LOVES cheerleading!
Rylie is in the Upward cheerleading program and gets to cheer at basketball games for 1st and 2nd graders. She was really excited for her first game and even made up her own cheer that her coach says she can teach the cheer squad at the next practice.

All excited for the big game.

Rylie's cheer squad.

The basketball team runs through the cheerleaders as the announcer calls the players names.

Half time performance. (Rylie is on the far left)

Here come those terrible 2's

So the other day Sienna was being really quite upstairs (it is rare that she leaves my side for very long lately...she is going through a mommy stage). I thought this is great, she is finally learning to play on her own. Well...that was not the case. I soon hear Colin yelling, "Mom, Sienna is getting into Rylie's lip gloss. So I go upstairs and there is Sienna with lip gloss smeared all over her face and hair. She had a huge grin on her face so I couldn't really get mad at her, could I?
Here she is with orange and blue lip gloss over her face and hair. I tried just washing it off with a cloth but it was too greasy so in the bath she went.
I LOVE bath pictures so I couldn't pass up the chance to get a few great pictures out of this situation. Brian always says that I will be "one of those moms" who embarrass their child by pulling out the cute naked baby pictures for their boyfriend or girlfriend to see. Who knows maybe I will!

Girl Fun

Mom gets to go to a fun girls Christmas party so Rylie decided that she wanted to have one as well. She invited some friends over for an afternoon of fun. We made some Christmas bracelets, decorated cupcakes and had a gift exchange.

Rylie has a fun group of friends that she enjoys hanging out with.

Funny faces

The girls had more fun seeing how many sprinkles they could get on their cupcakes than they did eating them.

I thought it was the boys that got wild but look at these girls. They were having pillow fights and wrestling each other.

The funnest part of all was the gift exchange.

I know that it is January and Christmas is over but I am finally getting around to blogging these pictures. Maybe I'll even get some up of Christmas.

Let's get it on!

Austin and Brian are huge San Diego Charger fans so when they won their game against the Broncos we had two very happy boys!

Here's what Austin has to say to all our family and friends who love the Broncos....

GO CHARGERS!
