This is our third year going camping over Memorial Day weekend. We went camping with 7 other families so there were lots of kids running around and the adults and kids had a great time. The most challenging part of the whole trip was Sienna not sleeping very well, so of course, I didn't sleep very well. We hope to carry on this fun tradition for years to come. Here are our top three reasons why it is so fun to go camping.
1. Family
We had these awesome tents to sleep in so we didn't need to set one up. I think that made Brian's weekend.
2. Friends
We brought our marshmellow guns and the kids and chipmuncks loved them.
3. The great outdoors
Colin loved to pee in the trees. I think that was his favorite part of the trip.
Making smores. Colin liked to play with them more than eat them.
Roasting hot dogs. Again, Colin liked to stick things in the fire and then not eat them.

It's hard to beat the thrill of taking a leak on a tree.
Landon and Mason are the same as Colin in that they just like to burn food over the fire.
Sounds to me like your volunteering to organize next years tradition!

I loved the picture of Colin! My boys used to love camping for the same reason. (They still love camping. They just don't pee by the trees anymore--I hope!)
Got to love peeing in the trees!!! I know that is MY favorite part of all campouts!
